One of the most frequent questions we get is 'Are their any IC friendly multivitamins?' The answer, sadly, is no. Most multivitamins have high quantities of acid in the form of Vitamin C and Vitamin B6 that can badly irritate the bladder. However, you can take several individual vitamins separately such as Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Calcium and a low acid Ester C. Please note that patients with severe IC and/or damage to the bladder wall may find the Low Acid Ester C irritating. Most patients, however, seem to tolerate it quite well. - Jill O.
